Visiting and accompanying service for elderly people with and without dementia

We are looking for volunteers for our visiting and accompanying service for elderly people with and without dementia. The visiting and accompanying service helps elderly people to organise their leisure time in a self-determined way in their home environment. Depending on the possibilities and wishes of the elderly person, you do something together like walks or excursions. You can talk or play board games. Accompaniment to shopping or doctor's visits is also possible.

• doing with elderly people what is close to their hearts, etc.

• Pleasure in dealing with older people
• Appreciation and open-mindedness
• Interest in the topic of dementia
• Desire for further training
• Time for regular visits

Important notice

We offer volunteers a varied range of activities, training, continuing education and regular professional guidance and support from a permanent contact person. Volunteers receive informative training in advance to prepare them for their work. We offer regular opportunities for exchange and a tax-free allowance. Volunteers are covered by accident and liability insurance. We also attach great importance to a culture of recognition, for example, we provide Christmas gifts.

Our advice centre is a contact point for older people and their relatives. It provides information and advice on all aspects of old age and care and helps to set up an individual care network.
