Travel companionship for people with impairment

You enjoy dealing with people? You are adventurous and like to travel? You are a team player, flexible, spontaneous? And you are willing to adapt to the personal needs of our travelers? Then support us as a travel companion!

The Martinsclub has been offering group travel for many years. We are looking for volunteers to chaperone multi-day trips or day trips.

Your Tasks

As a travel companion you work in a team and are there for the participants with an impairment for the entire duration of the trip. You provide support where needed, structure the day together with the group, and spend time with the travelers.

What's needed

Experience working with people with disabilities would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Time required

The Martinsclub is on the road all year round - whether it's a day trip, a week's beach vacation or a sailing trip lasting several days. When and how long you are away depends entirely on the trip you are accompanying. From a day trip to the North Sea to a trip to the mountains to a city break, it's all there.

Important notice

In an initial meeting we will inform you about all the details. In our in-house training area, we train you on various topics. Before we start, you will get to know the other travel companions and the participants.

The Martinsclub is an association in Bremen. We make many offers for people with impairment. Our goal is that all people are equal.
