Social Media Manager (no prior experience) for environmental nonprofit organisation

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who is interested in developing their skills in social media and helping our nonprofit organization protect the environment. If you have no prior experience but are willing to invest time and energy to learn the basics of social media management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Your Tasks

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of a social media strategy to effectively communicate our environmental mission and build an committed online community.
• Create and schedule content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Interacting with our online community, responding to comments and questions, and creating a positive dialogue.
• Monitoring social media activity and compiling reports on the success of campaigns and activities.
• Identifying trends and new opportunities in social media and environmental protection to continuously improve our presence.

What's needed

Requirements:

• No specific prior social media experience required.
• Interest and enthusiasm in social media and environmental stewardship.
• Creativity and ability to create engaging content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms.
• Team spirit and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Time required

You are free to spend your time as you wish, but we are looking for people who are willing to make a long-term commitment and actively participate in the growth of the association.
