We are looking for volunteers to help us with janitorial work at the DRK Youth Recreation Center Alt-Aumund.

The Bremen District Association of the German Red Cross currently employs around 1,400 full-time staff and around 800 volunteers in a wide variety of areas and locations in the Hanseatic City of Bremen. In the spirit of humanity, we are committed to the life, health, well-being, protection, peaceful coexistence and dignity of all people.

The DRK Youth Recreation Center Alt-Aumund is now run by the DRK Kreisverband Bremen e.V.. Our open work with children and young people focuses on promoting participation and independent action, gender-related work, the prevention of violence and respectful coexistence. We want to offer children and young people a space in which they can develop freely and feel comfortable. There is plenty of space for leisure, exercise and creativity both indoors and outdoors.

We are looking for volunteers to help us with caretaking duties at the DRK Alt-Aumund youth recreation center .

Your Tasks

Carrying out repairs and maintenance work of all kinds.Installing, setting up, assembling. As a volunteer, you will help to keep our premises in good condition. You will work independently and ensure a neat appearance.
Janitorial work of all kinds.

What's needed

Manual skills and experience, reliability and a sense of responsibility, friendly demeanor and communication skills, ability to work independently and you should be able to deal with children and young people. Friendliness and patience are important qualities.

Time required

The working hours are determined in consultation with the facilities. Flexibility is desirable.
