Support Vietnamese refugees communicate with social services!

we are looking for volunteers with communicative to fluent Vietnamese language skills. As the accommodation has more and more Vietnamese residents, we need people who can interpret/translate the questions and concerns of the refugees to our social workers and caregivers. 

Your Tasks

Interpreting/translating residents' questions and concerns into German or English; interpreting in discussions with social services.

What's needed

Very good or native Vietnamese language skills; communicative German or English.

Time required

By individual arrangement .

Important notice

• Extended certificate of good conduct (free of charge for volunteers; we can take care of the application on request).
• Proof of immunization against measles (for persons born after 1969). 

The facility in Askanierring is a first accommodation for refugees who are new in Berlin. Temporary accommodation can accommodate up to 250 people of all ages and from different countries of origin.
