In 2020, more than 21 million people in Germany picked up a book every day<\/a> or at least several times a week. Fiction accounts for the largest share with 31.9% of the books read, followed by children’s and young people’s books (17.6%) and guidebooks (14%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this article, we would like to introduce you to another category: Books for a better world. We asked around in the vostel.de team and broke down the multitude of literary masterpieces into 7 absolute recommendations. Most of them are only available in German but are mostly easy to understand with medium German skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wish you lots of reading pleasure and one or the other book will certainly make a great (Christmas) present!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 I WILLIAM MACASKILL \u2013 DOING GOOD BETTER<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
