About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to actively campaign for more equal opportunities in the education system? Then you've come to the right place! We offer free tutoring to disadvantaged students in grades 5 to 10. In this way, we help to break down financial barriers and give everyone access to high-quality education. Become part of our initiative and make a difference!
Your Tasks
- You give tutoring in subjects such as math, German, English, social studies
- You meet with other tutors once a month to exchange ideas
- You supervise/organize excursions with the students, which take place 1-2 times a year.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
- Basic knowledge in one of the subjects in which tutoring is required (e.g. math, German, English, social studies)
- Enjoy teaching children something

Approx. 1 hour per week.
You decide how much time you want to invest in tutoring. In our experience, it helps if you can invest one hour per week.
Important notice
Your volunteer work with us is very flexible in terms of time and content. Depending on when you have time and in which subjects you would like to help, we will find a suitable student for you. There is also the option of giving tutoring at the students' homes, at our university group house or online.
