The Interdisciplinary Pain Center at DIAKOVERE Friederikenstift is looking for two to three dedicated volunteers who would like to put their heart and creativity into creating a games group on our hospital ward. The aim is to give patients with chronic pain moments of lightness, distraction and joie de vivre by playing together.

Your Tasks
🧩 What you can expect:
- Setting up and organizing a regular games group on the ward
- Selection and moderation of suitable games (card games, board games, cooperative games, etc.)
- Individual support from our psychologist - you are not alone!
- A motivated team that values your commitment
- Room for your own ideas, humor and compassion
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
💡 What you should bring with you:
- Enjoy playing and interacting with people
- Empathy and patience in dealing with patients
- Not a must, but nice to have: Experience with group leadership or games

We would like the group to take place weekly. A small team of volunteers would take turns.
