About the volunteering opportunity
Have you always wanted to get involved in social projects alongside your studies and demonstrate your organizational skills at the same time? With your involvement in one of our more than 40 site management teams across Germany, you can help support children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds at school. And you only have to work about three hours a week!
Your Tasks
Students area:
- Recruitment of students at your location
- Conducting initial interviews with the students
- Contact person for (interested) students
- Matching students and pupils
Pupils area:
- Contacting schools, social institutions, etc.
- Contact person for contact persons/families
- Matching of students and pupils
Communication area:
- Instagram account management
- Planning and implementation of advertising campaigns
The distribution of tasks may vary slightly at each location. You will receive detailed information in the initial interview.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You should have completed school and be in or have completed a course of study/training. You should also enjoy organizing and coordinating.
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per week.
You should be able to devote around three hours per week. In addition to a fixed meeting of the site managers, further meetings are arranged individually. Depending on the location, the meetings take place online or on site.

For your volunteer work with us, you must apply for an extended certificate of good conduct (online) after the initial interview. There are no costs for you.
