About the volunteering opportunity

Would you like to volunteer and help people with refugee or migrant backgrounds settle into life in Frankfurt? Then you’ve come to the right place.
The Malteser Integration Service offers many opportunities to get involved. Whether you’d prefer to help people learn German, become a mentor, assist with moving into a new apartment, or facilitate connections between people—together, we’ll find the volunteer role that fits your interests, strengths, and schedule.
What to Expect

- Good German language skills
- Depending on the type of volunteer work, about 2–3 hours per week or project-based involvement

Depending on your commitment, you help decide when and how you’ll get involved. With our language programs, you can plan your volunteer shifts each month based on your availability. For mentoring programs, you and your mentee work together to arrange your meetings on an individual basis.
