About the volunteering opportunity

The Emmaus Forest is Neukölln’s largest forest and is slated to be developed into luxury apartments. Especially in these times of climate change and the biodiversity crisis, we need green oases. Help protect the Emmaus Forest.
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., we’ll explore the forest’s wild treasures and make a forest herb salt to take home and sell at the Rixdorf Christmas market.

Everyone interested—young and old alike—is invited to learn about wild herbs in the Emmaus Forest and to process the herbs they bring along. Because every pinch helps the forest!
