About the volunteering opportunity
Do you enjoy conversation, coffee, and cake? Come join our get-together and help shape the meetings with your ideas.
Our afternoon get-togethers in Langenhorn have been popular for many years now. People come together to enjoy coffee and cake, have a nice chat, and make new friends.
We’re currently looking for new volunteers to join our team and actively support our “Klönschnack” program.
Your Tasks
- Set the stage for a cozy afternoon: Prepare the room, set the tables, and have coffee and cake ready
- Follow-up: Tidy up and prepare the room again after the event
- Thematic Planning: We’re always on the lookout for interesting topics that can be discussed or presented as part of the event, and we’d love for you to help shape these as well
- Optional: If you enjoy baking cake and would love to share it with others, feel free to get creative here. Of course, all expenses incurred will be reimbursed.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
What you'll bring to the table:
- You enjoy working with seniors and are outgoing
- You enjoy working as part of a team and are reliable
- You’re open to creative ideas and willing to contribute your own ideas for a brief thematic presentation
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 3 hours per month.
On weekdays, during the day
- Third Wednesday of the month, 2:30–5:15 p.m.

Voluntary help and activities take place regionally in the neighborhood . We complement the voluntary work with varied offers such as first aid courses, local meeting places, our home emergency call and the newly founded second hand store. Our goal is to reach all people, to help people in need in an uncomplicated way and to create interesting offers for all generations. Maybe there is also something for you.
