About the volunteering opportunity
Help us create an atmosphere where blood donation becomes a shared experience.
Together with the blood donation team and the medical staff of the blood donation service, you’ll ensure that blood donation drives at our Barmbek location and at external companies in Hamburg-Nord are a success.
Your Tasks
- Welcoming donors and recording their information at check-in
- Providing support and refreshments for donors during their stay
- Helping to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
What You Bring to the Table
- A passion for working with people and an open, warm personality
- Reliability and the ability to work well in a team
- An interest in working with us to make an important contribution to healthcare

On weekdays, during the day
- Assignments are typically 2–3 times a month on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (in exceptional cases, occasionally in the evening)

Voluntary help and activities take place regionally in the neighborhood . We complement the voluntary work with varied offers such as first aid courses, local meeting places, our home emergency call and the newly founded second hand store. Our goal is to reach all people, to help people in need in an uncomplicated way and to create interesting offers for all generations. Maybe there is also something for you.
