Accompanying the recreational activities of children with disabilities

As a family relief service of the Einhorn gGmbH, we offer children and young people with an impairment varied leisure activities. We are always looking for committed children's companions to support us.

Your Tasks

In the individual accompaniment you accompany a child or teenager regularly 1-2 times a week in the afternoon or on the weekend in their free time and you go together, for example, to the playground or make small trips.

We offer you the opportunity to gain enriching experience. In addition, you will receive free training, hourly allowance, free training, reliable support for your volunteer work and much more.

We work all over Berlin. In a joint process, we will find a family that lives near you and with whom you fit in well.

What's needed

You don't necessarily need experience working with children or people with disabilities. What is important is an open attitude, cheerfulness and a sense of humour.

You should have about 2 hours a week for at least one year to commit to us. Reliability, punctuality and regularity are very important for our families.

Time required

The concrete needs will be individually agreed with the respective families. The times depend on the needs of the families and on your personal time capacities.

Important notice

Please note that your German language level should be at least B2.

We are a families relief service offering leisure activities to kids and youth with disabilities. We provide group activities (swimming, excursions, sport, cooking), individual support as well as vacation trips to children. All that is organized by volunteering child care workers and a a supporting coordinator team.
