We are a small, non-profit association running Squirrel News: a free, curated app for solution-focused news. We collect the most important solution-oriented pieces of journalism from across the international media landscape, and curate them into compact, digestible issues (more info at squirrel-news.net).
Right now we are looking for one more voluntary editors in our English editorial team.
You would be responsible for one issue per week (about 5−6 hours) as a volunteer editor. If you wish you can also do more, of course. You select the most important constructive and solutions-focused news of the day, participate in our editorial calls, rewrite headlines and teasers, and upload the editions. If you wish, you can also help us with PR, Social Media or translations.
We are looking for a native English speaker, ideally with professional experience in journalism / news editing.
About one day per week, 5-6 hours per day.
If you are interested or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
All the best,
Jonathan
