The project "Stay in!" is a project within the framework of the state program Mentoring, which is funded by the Senate Department for Integration, Labor and Social Affairs.
It was created to support young people on their way into professional life and to avoid training dropouts. Especially in the health sector, we want to bring together those who know how to do it with those who are just starting out and still have their whole professional life ahead of them, in order to get a new generation of innovative, self-confident, creative professionals on their way.
You accompany future healthcare professionals through the 6-month probationary period or through part of the training period. Our mentoring program is an honorary position that can be designed individually. It is important to us that the "chemistry is right" and that both enjoy being in contact. You can accompany a person who has started a new life in Germany for different reasons. Some have fled with their parents, others have come to Germany alone and are now adults. The trainees have started an apprenticeship in the health sector and with your freely arranged time, it will be easier for them to pass the probationary period and complete their training!
Currently we accompany e.g. mentees from the areas:
Get involved in a colourful society - start with us with the trainees in your neighbourhood!
We welcome anyone who has a desire to support young people during their probationary period and continuing education in the health sector, and who may themselves have experience in the health and/or social care sector.
We are looking for people with life experience, understanding and know-how, patience, some time and energy.
Wille gGmbH is an intercultural social business. With our offers we support people on their way into paid work. Wille has been founded in the 70s in Kreuzberg as a youth project. We have 25 employees with different cultural backgrounds working for us. On a regular basis, volunteers do support us, e.g. with our Repair Café.
