TechLabs empowers everyone to learn Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Web Development and User Experience Design by means of our pioneering Digital Shaper program that combines online learning, project work as well as community events in Berlin – completely for free!
In 2017 TechLabs started in Münster with a clear idea of the impact it wanted to create in the world. As we've moved forward, we've come to the point at which we wanted to work with more diverse and creative communities. Berlin is the perfect answer for this. The combination of Berlin's rich startup eco-system, its colorful inhabitants and an engaged local management team, solidifies our presence and motivation to be in Berlin. Starting out with a team of five in late 2019, our local team in Berlin has grown to more than 20 lovely and highly motivated people.
We are constantly looking for motivated and friendly volunteers for a high number of responsibilities. For example, we have more than 10 individuals organizing the learning journey. Moreover, we need team members for managing long-lasting relationships with partnering companies, and for creating stunning marketing material to make our mission known to preferably all Berliners. See all of our volunteering opportunities on our website.
Depending on the thematic focus of your engagement at TechLabs, you will need different knowledge. We are open to people of all backgrounds and see the engagement at TechLabs as an opportunity to develop yourself and make new contacts. The areas of responsibility at TechLabs Berlin are extremely diverse and an open mindset, the ability to communicate effectively and the willingness to learn are more important to us than specific skills.
...you enjoy empowering other people to do new things, if you have a desire to work with people of diverse backgrounds, and you can commit 3-5 hours of time per week to help TechLabs and you move forward.
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Your support is needed on a long-term basis.
Am I covered by accident and/or casualty insurance during the project?
