About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a leisure companion for a client in a residential community for people with intellectual disabilities.
Your Tasks
Accompanying them in leisure activities, taking them on walks in the immediate vicinity, visiting cafés, keeping them busy with the existing aquarium, talking to them about football.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Patience, empathy, good listening skills, interest in football (especially Hertha BSC), interest in aquaristics
2G+ / extended certificate of good conduct (can be requested from us)
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
On weekdays, during the day
Desirable would be Tuesdays or Thursdays from 16.00 clock
Important notice
Client needs a rollator, so the leisure companion should be confident in using it
