Participate in the planning and implementation of the project "Action Camp for Global Change 2022"

Environmental protection and sustainability, social justice and a diverse society are topics that are close to your heart? You are between 16 and 30 years old and want to become active in these areas, get new ideas, meet like-minded people and have fun? You want to actively gain new experiences and help to improve the world? Then create together with us and other interested people the - Action Camp for Global Change 2022!

The interactive weekend with workshop offers and actions will take place from 17 - 19 June 2022.

We would like to develop the program together with you and give you the opportunity to contribute your ideas and try yourself in terms of organization as well as implementation of events. Whether you get involved in program planning, creative tasks or public relations, you can decide according to your wishes.

Your Tasks

Depending on your capacity, you can sign up for smaller, but also for larger tasks, which you can arrange flexibly in terms of time and implement entirely according to your wishes. To coordinate and plan there will be joint preparation meetings with all contributors.

Some of are the tasks, for example:

• Program development (consider topics, ideas for workshops and actions, speakers*innen search, request, write texts, etc.).)
• Publicity and public relations (hang posters, info to appropriate NGOs and organizations forward, social media calls and reports, make photos or videos, etc.)
• Implementation (test technology, if necessary, supervision of speakers, moderation, give their own workshops, crafts and creative etc.)

What's needed

• You are between 16 and 30 years old?
• The topic of sustainability is important to you? - We care about the entire breadth of sustainability (social, economic, ecological)
• You have a desire to plan and implement events?

Time required

You can sign up for smaller, but also for larger tasks, depending on your capacity, which you can arrange flexibly in terms of time and implement entirely according to your wishes. The commitment in the project is thus very flexible!

There will be about 1x per month joint preparation meetings with all contributors.

This project is location independent.

The youngcaritas Berlin belongs to the Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V. and promotes young people's commitment. Our goal is to introduce young people to politically and socially "explosive" topics and to teach them a more attentive and conscious use of environmental resources, both through theoretical input and through practical implementation. The goal of youngcaritas Berlin is to win as many young people as possible for voluntary work, be it for the youngcaritas projects "Kulturbuddys", *vergissmeinnicht* or through counselling and placement in various institutions and projects.
