Become part of the kitchen team in our accommodation for refugees Bi_PoC

On the 28th February 2022 black and brown organizations as well as individuals decided to

form our coalition so we can put this horror to an end. Bi_PoC and white volunteers joined us on this mission.

Ever since then we provided support for people of African descent, Bi_PoC, white people who have a black family, children and their families as well as pregnant people of all ethnicities. The project is focused on people of African descent and has the most ressources for them. We provide them with:

• access to evacuations 
• shelter 
• medical treatment 
• psychological counseling
• child care
• food 
• clothes and hygiene products
• legal advice
• a community

Your Tasks

You can assist our shelter team in the kitchen with the following tasks:

• Preparing and serving food to our guests and team
• Organizing and sorting food donations
• Washing up and cleaning the kitchen

We also need assistance cleaning the entire shelter.

Time required

We work at Dammweg 216 in 4h shifts. Write us for specific time arrangements gladly a message.

We have existed so far as an emergency response to Bi_PoC fleeing war in Ukraine but being left behind in all exspects of this humanitarian crisis.In Ukraine, all European countries and in the US they get the help they would need denied.
