You are interested in cultural exchange and want to actively support migrants and refugees in learning the German language? You are between 16 and 30 and want to be active in these areas, get new ideas, meet like-minded people and have fun in the process? Then join us!
Learning a new language is always associated with some difficulties. Especially if someone had to flee from there country of origin for various reasons. In our project "Language connects" we want to migrants and refugees in a combined variant of a language course and a language café to learn the German language. The language course forms the basis, since here partly for the first time the new language is learned.
In the language café we want to come together and discuss different topics and thereby facilitate the everyday speech in the new language. Besides we promote the understanding for one another. Cultural exchange, lived solidarity and an appreciative togetherness are particularly important to us.
The Sprachcafé is an open offer to all who are just learning German, want to improve their everyday German or want to come into exchange with different people from different cultures.
We would like to develop the Sprachcafé together with you and give you the opportunity to contribute your ideas and try yourself in terms of organization as well as implementation of individual events. depending on how much time you bring with you, you can take on smaller or larger tasks.
During the language café, we offer, among other things, the possibility to talk about everyday things, to go through the documents from the last German course again or to support you in preparing for a language exam.
You can be there every time, but that is not a must :). Depending on what we have planned for the next date, a little more time may be needed for preparation. You can also join the project at any time.
