Charity Shop in Wedding - sorting donations, looking after clients

In the Caritas clothing store, we give donated clothes in good condition to our customers. The volunteer team is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help regularly 1x a week in the morning,

We offer:

• reimbursement of expenses,
• accident and liability insurance,
• free training,
• initiation,
• professional support,
• proof of activity

Your Tasks

Tasks:

• Sort clothes,
• accompany the issuance of clothing,
• give appointments by phone,
• work on the computer.

Daily up to 60 people come to the clothing store.

What's needed

Communication skills and ability to work under pressure for the diverse tasks,

Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage, but not a must.

Time required

The youngcaritas Berlin belongs to the Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V. and promotes young people's commitment. Our goal is to introduce young people to politically and socially "explosive" topics and to teach them a more attentive and conscious use of environmental resources, both through theoretical input and through practical implementation. The goal of youngcaritas Berlin is to win as many young people as possible for voluntary work, be it for the youngcaritas projects "Kulturbuddys", *vergissmeinnicht* or through counselling and placement in various institutions and projects.
