About the volunteering opportunity
August 26th will be our AHA Terrace Festival. This year, the event location will be extended again to the streets.
A get to know you meeting can be arranged to talk about the details, the time slots in which support is needed, and to get a first look at the location. We are available via e-mail too: help (at) aha-berlin.de
Your Tasks
We need concrete support with
- Assembly and dismantling
- Decoration
- Admission
- Securing beverage supply and filling up the fridges
- Collecting dishes
- Washing dishes
- Distribute flyers
If you have experience in these areas, you are also welcome to assist us in the following areas:
- Bar and counter
- Grill
This list is not exhaustive, as there are always many other tasks that arise at such an event. If you think that you can support us, but you are not sure, you can always send us a message to helfen(at)aha-berlin.de.
What's needed
You should be open-minded and respectful. As a queer event, it is important to treat all people with respect. So if you have experience working with people from the LGBTIQ+ community, that would be great.
If you have bar and counter experience, then you are welcome to get involved in this area.
Time required
The shifts are expected to be 2-3 hours. But this will be discussed with you individually.
