About the volunteering opportunity

We are especially interested in volunteers who are able to teach computer basics (email, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) in German, Ukrainian or Russian

Your Tasks

Volunteers are expected to teach 3-5 times this fall semester (from September to December). The classes will focus on computer basics: how to use a computer, what programs are used to accomplish certain tasks (e.g., writing a resume, making a grocery list, sending email, etc.), and how to use a computer in a professional setting.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

Volunteers should be comfortable with computers and basic G Suite and Microsoft programs. They should also be comfortable teaching in front of a class.

Time required

Regularly
Approx. 4 hours per week.
On weekdays, on weekends, at night

Please allow at least 4 hours during the weeks you teach.

Important notice

ReDI Munich believes in equal rights for men and women in all areas of life. We also reject all forms of racism and identity-based discrimination. Our volunteers are expected to subscribe to these values.

Where?

ReDI School of Digital Integration Munich

ReDI Munich offers free technical education courses to newcomers to the city. We want to ensure that refugees, migrants and immigrants can integrate into German society and the job market.
