About the volunteering opportunity

Learn and live tolerance: With Colored Glasses, YFU offers workshops against discrimination and for a diversity-conscious and open society throughout Germany in all types of schools from 5th grade. The workshops are conducted in teams of 2-3 volunteers aged 16 and older. For this we are looking for enthusiastic young people with a desire to get involved!

Your Tasks

Themes include raising awareness of cultural differences and dealing with identity, prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination. Human rights, flight and the like can also be dealt with - the schools choose the focus and the volunteers design the content.

To give workshops, you will be thoroughly prepared by us. Trainings go over a weekend and take place regularly. In addition, there are further training, partly also as webinars.

The network is supported by a full-time contact person at the carrier YFU. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions!
