About the volunteering opportunity
A blind woman is looking for support in using her iPhone and tablet, e.g. downloading apps, updates etc.
Your Tasks
Instruction, support.
Especially with her iPhone she needs support, since it is new and she was not an Apple user before. So it would be good if you are familiar with the Apple system and can explain where to find what.
The tablet, in turn, has an Android system.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
Good knowledge in using smartphone (Apple) and PC.
Experience in working with visually impaired people is an advantage but not necessary.
The woman is very open-minded and likes to learn.
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 1 hour per week.
Support can be provided flexibly once every two weeks by arrangement.

The AWO|FFM Volunteer Agency is located in the heart of the city and has been working with a team of 11 people since 2008 with over 500 social work institutions and arranges meaningful volunteer work in cooperation with many actors in the city. You will be informed in detail before your assignment, if necessary trained, insured and always have contact persons on site who will support you.
