We are especially interested in finding volunteers dedicated to diversity and inclusion within the tech industry. Whatever your skill set, if you believe all immigrants and refugees deserve a chance to thrive in tech, then ReDI is the place for you!
Volunteers overee 5 2-hour sessions. This means preparing the material and teaching the material either on campus (near Ostbahnhof) or on ZOOM.
There are no set prerequisites.
Volunteer knowledge is dependent on the course they choose to teach.
Volunteers at ReDI Munich will help students learn new technical skills during the semester, 100% free of charge.
The volunteers are scheduled to teach 5 two-hour sessions during the semester (approximately 3 months).
Topics to be taught include:
- How to browse the internet safely
- How to send email, manage your inbox
- How to use ZOOM and other virtual meeting platforms
- how to use MS office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Web design (UX/UI)
ReDI Munich offers one-hour information events every Tuesday evening. To register, please follow this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/volunteer-info-sessions-tickets-324576997537
This project is location independent.
ReDI Munich offers free technical education courses to newcomers to the city. We want to ensure that refugees, migrants and immigrants can integrate into German society and the job market.More about the organisation
