About the volunteering opportunity
Our vision: Every child in Germany - regardless of gender and background - should have done some programming before deciding on a career. Not just because of the IT skills alone, but also because of the 21st century skills that are so wonderfully conveyed when solving an IT "problem"!
In low-threshold online programming courses, we get young people excited about programming and IT topics at the weekend. We provide you with a ready-made course concept and prepare you for the course in an onboarding session.
Your Tasks
🗓️ Flexible: Simply choose a suitable date and topic.
💻 Online via Zoom.
⏰ Two-day courses (4 hours each) at the weekend.
🤩 Enthusiastic young people who want to spend their free time programming.
🤝 Support: We take care of ticket sales and all organizational details. You inspire together with another volunteer in a supervision ratio of 1:6.
⛵ We will prepare you for your assignment in an onboarding session .
📝 We will provide you with a ready-made course concept and other materials

You run the course independently with another volunteer and you are responsible for a total of 12 participants aged between 11 and 18

As a non-profit organization, we are proud that the courses are free of charge for socio-economically disadvantaged children and for schools.
