About the volunteering opportunity
The scope of the swimming training ranges from seahorses to lifeguards. Very important to us here are the non-swimmers, both children and adults.
The group sizes vary, usually there are about 10 participants per course. The older the participants or advanced, the larger the groups.
Your Tasks
Training of the course participants, as well as the organization and implementation around the swimming course (e.g. escorting participants in and out)

- And of course the lifeguard badge (which we train ourselves)
Time required
We offer swimming lessons for children and adults every working day, at different times. The operating times can be both in the morning, as well as in the evening hours.
The swimming courses are oriented by the duration to the school half-years. As a rule, one hour per course is to be planned, the changing times are not yet considered.

DLRG Ortsgruppe Wolfsburg e.V.
Through its members and branches, the DLRG forms the largest, voluntary and leading water rescue organization in Germany and the world. In it, all members and branches find a voluntary and humanitarian society for the prevention of drowning.
Our most important core tasks include the:
- education about dangers in and around water
- training in swimming and lifeguarding as well as self-rescue
- further qualification of lifeguards for training and deployment
- organization and implementation of a comprehensive water rescue service
- youth work and the promotion of young talent
