About the volunteering opportunity

Help us use sports as a bridge to integration and a sense of belonging. As a volunteer working to support the integration of refugees, you’ll help the Wild Boars Rugby Club e.V. create welcoming opportunities for refugees and newcomers so they can become part of our club and the wider community. In collaboration with refugee shelters, local organizations, and community partners, you’ll help develop programs that use rugby and sports to promote inclusion, personal development, language exchange, health, and well-being.

No rugby experience is required—compassion, cultural openness, and a desire to support others are what matter most.

Flexible and long-term. Volunteer activities are organized based on availability and the needs of our community partners. Public relations work, meetings, and community events take place throughout the year, while rugby practices are typically held on weekday evenings and occasionally on weekends. Volunteers can typically contribute 2 to 6 hours per month, though as the program grows, opportunities for greater involvement will also arise.
