Donate food & hygiene products for refugees from Ukraine
Information about the request
Description
We have all seen the terrible pictures from Ukraine and know that countless people are on the run. So that our distribution points are also well prepared for the refugees, we ask for additional hygiene items and durable food. It is important that all items are in their original packaging.
Unfortunately, we can not accept donations in the form of clothing. We do not have the infrastructure to distribute them further.
Donation drop-off:
- Donations can be dropped off in our Haltbar store (Pestalozzistraße 100 in Berlin-Charlottenburg) on Monday to Saturday 12-18 clock.
- Alternatively, the food and hygiene items can also be brought to our LAIB und SEELE- Ausgabestellen (more information under this link) one to two hours before the official opening hours on the respective distribution days.
- Moreover, you can bring them to the head office of our long-time partner Goldnetz (Am Köllnischen Park 1 in Berlin-Mitte), where the donations are accepted Monday to Friday from 8.30 - 15.00.

Fresh nourishment that could help many Berliners in need if it were distributed properly - something that the Berliner Tafel e.V. has been accomplishing successfully since 1993, For 25 years, Berliner Tafel members and volunteers have been rescuing donated food, sorting it, and delivering it to social and charitable organizations throughout the city.
