Description
The number of people who need the support of the Berliner Tafel is constantly increasing.
Our customers are always happy to receive donations of non-perishable food such as rice and pasta, (olive) oil, canned goods (tomatoes, corn, etc.) or "luxury" items such as hot chocolate or coffee, as we rarely rescue these product groups from supermarkets and they are good for a long time. Hygiene products for daily use (shampoo, shower gel, diapers, etc.) are also welcome.
It is important that all items are in their original packaging.

It is important that all items are in their original packaging.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept clothing donations. We do not have the infrastructure to redistribute them.
Handing in donations:
- Donations can be handed in as indicated in our Haltbar store (Pestalozzistraße 100 in Berlin-Charlottenburg) Monday to Saturday 12-6pm.
- Alternatively, smaller quantities of food and hygiene articles can also be brought to our LAIB und SEELE distribution points (more information under this link) one to two hours before the official opening hours on the respective distribution days.
- If you would like to organize a larger collection, you can either bring the donations to our headquarters in Hall 1 at the Berlin wholesale market in Berlin-Moabit or contact us in advance and we will organize a pick-up.

Fresh nourishment that could help many Berliners in need if it were distributed properly - something that the Berliner Tafel e.V. has been accomplishing successfully since 1993, For 25 years, Berliner Tafel members and volunteers have been rescuing donated food, sorting it, and delivering it to social and charitable organizations throughout the city.
