We are happy to participate and want to collect school and children's books in Ukrainian. Olena is a teacher in her home country and is on site as a volunteer.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many people fled to Germany. Hundreds of children also to our city and often with their mothers.
When in the first week of our help here at the church place St. Joseph the young architect from Belarus had contacted us, he wanted to help immediately as a volunteer, he brought a whole bag full of children's books in Ukrainian, those from his childhood. He told us: "They need these children here now!"
We were impressed and understood!
