EMERGENCY
EMERGENCY was founded in 1994 to provide free quality medical and surgical care to victims of war and poverty.
Today, EMERGENCY works in Uganda, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Central African Republic and Italy.
We are looking for volunteer supporters who would like to actively support us in Berlin! Volunteering plays a very important role for EMERGENCY. In Germany/Berlin we are all volunteer supporters and the areas of work here are diverse. There is a lot to do!
The tasks of our group in Berlin include organizing events, conferences and information days, answering information requests, filing, as well as translating texts (EN->DE) and preparing posts on Facebook and other social media. It is about a commitment to human rights and against war and all forms of discrimination.
We are here on Facebook and you can also send us an email: berlin@emergencyde.org

In the current conflicts, 90% of war victims are civilians. One in three is a child. In 26 years, EMERGENCY's hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation centers have treated over 11 million patients free of charge.
All of Emergency's facilities are designed, built and managed by an international team of specialists. A special focus is the education and training of local staff.
