Silbernetz helps people 60+ who have no one to talk to with a three-stage offer:
Silver phone: daily from 8-22 o'clock senior citizens find an open ear under 0800 4 7080 90 to "simply-talk".
Silbernetz friends: For regular personal telephone conversations, interested senior citizens are networked with volunteers who then call once a week.
Silberinfo: Silbernetz provides contacts to professional help all over Germany, for Berlin callers also information about offers of help for the elderly in the neighbourhood.
These Silbernetz services are confidential, anonymous and free of charge.
The work of Silbernetz is made possible by funding from the state of Berlin, the Jobcenter and by foundations, companies and donors.
