About SaveClimate.Earth e.V.
Target group(s)
The concept, which we have developed as a social and just alternative to the current climate policy, is aimed at consumers who are concerned with sustainability and CO2 consumption. Who want to participate in a socio-ecological transformation process and are interested in out-of-the-box solutions. We also want to address socially critical citizens who are sceptical about the current tools of the government (CO2 tax/EU-ETS) and want a better alternative.

At SaveClimate.Earth, we all work on a volunteer basis. In order to finance ourselves, we rely on donations, sponsorship contributions and public funding. All donations are used exclusively for our non-profit work and are therefore tax-deductible.
Objectives
We would like to introduce a system that completely records CO2 emissions
- without gaps
- transparently
- and accounts for them fairly.
Imagine that you get the sum of all CO2 emissions of a product displayed and can thus directly identify the more climate-friendly product at a glance by its CO2 footprint.
Imagine that there is a separate emissions price tag for this and that you pay this price in the CO2 currency "ECO".
Imagine that everyone receives this currency in the same amount as a personal, free CO2 budget and that you can trade this quota.
What if you could guarantee that the remaining emission budget would NOT be exceeded and that the climate targets would be met? And this reliably, socially and fairly!
Because the ECO puts the responsibility for climate protection in your hands and uses your power as a consumer.

Your cooperation supports the goal of the association to bring the concept of a separate emission price tag and the introduction of a personal CO2 budget into the public and political debate, because meeting the climate target is a huge project for society as a whole that cannot be tackled by individuals, but only as part of a large coherent concept by us together.
