Extinction Rebellion - Leipzig
We are an international socio-political movement. Our goal is to bring about the comprehensive and profound change needed for the climate. In doing so, we aim to reduce the risk of human extinction and the collapse of our ecosystems.
Through non-violent civil resistance, we seek to persuade our governments to declare a state of ecological emergency and to create the legal framework to implement our demands.
We act out of love for life and for a livable future for all living beings on this planet. We call on all to join the rebellion for survival, regardless of religion, origin, class, age, sexuality, gender, ethnicity as well as political inclination.
We will not use verbal or physical violence in actions or elsewhere. Our strict non-violence applies both online and offline. Discriminatory behaviour, insults and any kind of misanthropic statements and actions are unacceptable for us.

We are Extinction Rebellion. We protest the extinction of all species and ecosystems, and us humans too. So we're doing this for you, too: For your livable future, for your healthy climate, and for your planet.
Our movement lives above all from the voluntary work of many committed rebels. But we can't do it without financial means - be it to print flyers, to set up a climate camp like the one in Berlin in October or to finance legal costs that arise from our civil disobedience.

Your support helps
us on the way to our goal in the way that is just right for you. There are many ways you can get involved.
- Are you creative? Support the"Kreativ AG" in designing and creating banners or making sculptures.
- Are you a networker and do you like to talk to strangers? Then help us in the "Mobi AG" to mobilize more rebels, so that politics can no longer ignore us.
- You like to speak? Do interview trainings and be a press contact person at demonstrations or give speeches on the podium or at the crossroads.
We will prepare and train you intensively for all actions and give you the opportunity to speak out afterwards if something is bothering you. Regeneration is very important to us.
