Albert-Schweitzer-Kinderdorf e.V. Waldenburg

Our non-profit, charitable association was founded in 1957 by Margarete Gutöhrlein.

We support children, young people and families in the HN-Franconia region with a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and preventative services.

The heart of our institution are the children's village families in Waldenburg. Here we give children who, for various reasons, cannot live with their biological parents a new and long-term home.
