Wohn- und Ferienheim Heideruh
Heideruh was founded in 1945 on behalf of the British Army by the "Committee of Former Political Prisoners". The aim was and is the recovery from persecution and from the fight against National Socialism. The central slogan of the committee "Never again war! That never happen what happened yesterday!" Heideruh feels obliged until today:
We are a political meeting house.
Heideruh is a full board establishment, so guests and groups can have up to a maximum of four meals per day. Most of the work is done by volunteers.
Numerous events take place, such as "Education against the Right", youth camps and working groups.
We have a Bufdi position. You work 50% of the time in the kitchen. The other 50% you can devote to an (international) project in cooperation with Heideruh.
Heideruh is located in the middle of the forest, surrounded by heath. Walking, jogging and cycling are ideal leisure activities. Hamburg is about 30 minutes away by train.
We are a friendly team of voluntary and full-time committed people.
