Bürgerstiftung Nürnberg

The Citizens' Foundation Nuremberg was founded in 2001 by citizens and companies. It attaches great importance to economic, political and denominational independence and therefore consistently avoids any dominance by individual stakeholders. As a non-profit, democratic foundation, it feels committed to the common good and sees itself as a participatory foundation that promotes social and cultural living conditions through the promotion of civic engagement, strengthens togetherness and thus enables all Nurembergers to experience the lovability of their city.
