HORIZONT e.V.

The HORIZONT house is an institution for homeless children and their mothers. In total there are about 24 families who are taken care of and are advised socio-pedagogical. In addition, there is the possibility of reappraising their past experiences through art-therapeutical offers. Also the children get adequate support and supervision when doing their homework and in other school issues. Another focus lies on the support of the mother concerning the learning and deepening of the german language and the orthography. Most of the women need a lot of support. The target is to stabilize the families, to develop their independency and to prepare them for an autonomous life in their own flat.
