AWO Jugendwohnen Milbertshofener Platz

The AWO at Milbertshofener Platz is a semi-residential youth support institution in which 7 adolescents between 16 and 21 years receive daily care and assistance. The adolescents are supported in their independence and in their educational and professional plans. In addition, the aim is to develop social competencies in the living community. Two qualified employees assist the teenagers, however, daily life is managed independently by the teenagers. Support is offered through e.g. one-on-one conversations to define joint targets where the adolescents receive support for their realisation. Evenings get-togethers, city excursions and workshop weekends are regularly organised as well.
