Objectives
TheLeague sees its primary task in controlling governments, authorities and political decision-makers, as well as in creating a critical public to politics from above. TheLeague fights for the observance and further development of civil and human rights - on the international level (e.g. Iran, Israel-Palestine and Turkey-Kurdistan), in Europe (EU) and in the Federal Republic. It opposes the increasing militarization of "internal security" and military interventions in other countries.
Other focal points of theLeague's work are contributions to the realization of economic, social and cultural human rights as well as the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
