In the association InteGREATer e.V. committed young migrant volunteers and people with an international history work together to act as role models for more educational awareness and commitment with their biographies. Our mission: To credibly show the next generation of young people with a migration background that education is the key.

Target group(s)
Our target group are young people with an international history and migrants. Since 2010, InteGREATers have been able to speak at over 500 events, discussions and lectures in schools, youth and district centres and mosques throughout Germany.

Funding
Almost 50 individuals and companies from all over Germany already support InteGREATer e.V. within the framework of a sustaining membership. Their support ensures that InteGREATers can coordinate and organise themselves and the association can continue to grow.
Objectives
Although Germany has been a country of immigration for many years, politicians and the public are only slowly realising that our world has changed fundamentally in this respect. Countless projects and initiatives have now addressed the issue of integration, but when it comes to migration or migration background, the discussion usually revolves around buzzwords such as "lack of German language skills", "educationally disadvantaged classes", "unemployment", "difficult to place", "clash of cultures" etc. ; all terms that give cause for concern.
Our association aims to bring out the positive side of this medal by focusing on the success stories of integration.

You are currently in a professional training, have already successfully completed such a training or are in the middle of your studies? Do you want to achieve something in your life and are you committed to helping others do the same?
As an InteGREATer you can speak in events, discussions and lectures at schools, in youth and district centres and mosques and motivate pupils, parents, teachers, employees and other integration actors with your life story!
