Nachbarschaftstreff Giesing
Since April 2019, the Nachbarschaftstreff Giesing is open to everyone: whether man or woman, old or young, from Germany or native from elsewhere, people with and without disabilities. Neighborhood is important for many people- here you can find new friends and acquaintances and also perhaps a piece of home, in which one wants to feel good.
Together, ideas, projects and actions are implemented here: from the children's action to the women's meeting, from the open cooking meeting to the theater group, from the Schafkopfgruppe to the senior gymnastics.
We offer the opportunity to tackle and implement their own ideas in projects.
In addition, we have a large function room with a fully equipped kitchen, a group room with kitchen use, music practice rooms with special sound insulation, a small garden with raised beds and garden furniture. In addition, we ve got information about the district, contacts with committees, important people and institutions in the district.

Our sponsor is the Quarter-M gGmbH- Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für soziale Quartiersentwicklung mbH. The QuarterM gGmbH currently operates ten neighborhood meetings on behalf of the City of Munich as well as neighborhood-related projects at various locations in Munich.
Objectives
We know the area well and try to help with questions and problems of the neighborhood. We take time for concerns and ideas, material and know-how.
