DRK KV Emden e.V.

The DRK Kreisverband Emden e.V. was founded on August 24, 1949 and is one of 480 district associations of the German Red Cross. The association currently has about 700 members and about 60 full-time employees. In addition to the core tasks of a district association of the German Red Cross, two daycare centers and a driving service are part the services with which the association generates revenue. Since 2021, the DRK in Emden has been actively offering services to citizens and the business community in connection with the fight against the pandemic by setting up a corona test center.
