The BUND Bremen is committed to environmental and nature conservation together with numerous active people, among other things in the form of various projects, actions, excursions, seminars and events. In addition to thematic priorities, such as climate, nature and marine conservation, mobility and transport, BUND Bremen is committed to the preservation of urban nature and biodiversity and cares for protected areas.
In addition, the environmental education of BUND Bremen organizes and initiates numerous projects for children and young people. With its versatile, Bremen-wide event offer it ranks for years among the most important environmental education facilities in Bremen. Apart from projects with Kitas and schools as well as offers for children and families the association offers with the BUND Kinderwildnis on the Stadtwerder a central, for all open nature experience area.
