The aim and purpose of the association is the operation and maintenance of the Ecology Center in Radbrucher Forst as an ecological education center. On the three-hectare former training firing range of the Federal Border Guard, nature conservation is actively pursued and the habitats in the old firing ranges, for example the mosquito bat, are preserved. In addition, the site and its special features, as well as the existing seminar house, are used to offer educational events for a wide variety of target groups in the spirit of education for sustainable development.

We are financed by membership fees, donations and financial support from the BUND Regionalverband Elbe-Heide e.V.
Objectives
The aim and purpose of the association is the operation and maintenance of the Ecology Center in Radbruch Forest as an ecological education, consultation and service center. The Ecology Center in Radbrucher Forst shall primarily disseminate knowledge and information to the public and provide assistance on the following topics:
- Environmental protection
- Nature and species protection
- Environmental education
- Consumer Protection
- Environmentally Sound Housing and Construction
- Open Space Design
The association also aims to promote sustainability and contribute to people's quality of life through improvements in environmental conditions.
