KATE - Kontaktstelle für Umwelt und Entwicklung e.V.
The Kontaktstelle für Umwelt und Entwicklung (KATE) e.V. was founded in 1988 in the GDR and is a non-profit association that has set itself the goal of responsibly helping to shape a sustainable world by means of environmental and development education work. We offer a variety of programs for different age groups, including the Berlin Development Education Program (benbi).

The project is supported by Engagement Global with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, from budget funds of the State of Berlin - Landesstelle für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit as well as by Bread for the World with funds from the Church Development Service.
