The aim of our activities is the long-term improvement of healthcare in our project countries. The focus of our work: We ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care in emergency aid and development cooperation. In doing so, we always focus on the specific needs on the ground and work closely with local project partners. We provide support with medicines of tested quality in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization on essential medicines ('Essential Drug List'). In the project countries, we promote the training of pharmaceutical personnel and organize training courses, for example on hygiene or the organization of a medicine warehouse. In Germany, we hold regular training courses for interested members, in which potential emergency personnel are introduced to the basics of humanitarian work for pharmacists. We also conduct pharmaceutical training courses for partner organizations. We are also committed to combating counterfeit medicines (e.g. in the WHO's IMPACT project) and provide information on good drug donation practices.
