Ausländerrat Dresden e.V.
The Ausländerrat Dresden e.V. has been working for the rights and interests of people with migration and refugee experience in Dresden since 1990. The goal of its work is to promote social cohesion and strengthen the cultural, social and political participation of migrants and their self-representation.
In the project "Bildungspatenschaften" (educational mentorships), volunteer mentors are placed with children and young people with migration and refugee experience and are provided with competent and professional support. The goal is to support the children and young people in school issues and to be a contact person.

Your support helps
... Children and young people with migration and refugee experience over a longer period of time 1 time per week for about 2 hours.
You accompany and support children and young people according to their needs, interests and strengths.
With the children and young people, you individually repeat learning material, do homework, learn the German language together and, if necessary, you support in the search for internships, in the application or training and career orientation.
You help children, young people and their families to arrive in Dresden - this enables extracurricular educational experiences.
